HORRIFIC experience, VERY unprofessional and DISGUSTING treatment by staff! I went to the Cafe with my partner for a nice breakfast- all we received was rudeness. I chose a breakfast & advised them of my food allergies (gluten & dairy), the waitress came and said i couldn't have my chosen meal due to dairy & would have to pick something else. No worries, due to the limited menu i had about 2 meals to choose from so i picked another, & asked if i could have Avo on the toast instead of feta. The waitress replied with ' we cant change the menu, it takes too much time for the chefs & we are too busy'! After that we thanked her & politely advised we would pay for the coffee but will have to eat else where due me being unable to eat anything there. The waitress then turned to my partner and said " so your not eating either'? after he said 'no sorry, we wanted to have breakfast together', she snatched the menus and stormed off. I have NEVER felt so unwelcome at a cafe and i would not recommend anyone to eat here. They should take into consideration and have a bit more kindness peoples allergies. On the upside we went to Bronte's and had a wonderful breakfast.
Enjoyed a lovely breakfast, before surprising Mother-inlaw of our arrival, breakfast was very nice, just don't expect any service if trying to arrange anything if you are out of state! Tried unsuccessfully!!
Family birthday breakfast in the function/private room gave us the opportunity to talk and laugh without disturbing other diners. The staff were lovely and did not forget to check on us regularly even though we were out of the way. The breakfast board selection was interesting and delicious. Our celebration and enjoyment was of importance to the staff. The function room was perfect for our group, but the view from the restaurant is beautiful.
Had a wonderful breakfast at Crossing Restaurant. The young lady serving us was exemplary in both service and pleasantries. The food offered from a varied menu was fabulous. Thank you.
Called in after recommendation from a friend. Passing through Deniliquin looking for a coffee and perhaps a croissant. Not a welcoming or positive experience to say the least. Neither front of house staff were interested in assisting us. We attempted to have a look at the menu located behind the counter, but were yelled at rudely and informed it was not todays menu. Ordered two coffees takeaway and left. Such a shame, this venue is lovely and has so much potential, sadly it wont be reached with such poor service. The Deniliquin Bakery was very friendly as an alternative. Dont waste your time at this cafe, the coffee wasnt even good!
